How to simulate the Champions League

What is the knockout play-off and how do I simulate it?
It is the two-legged round between the clubs that finished 9th to 24th. The simulator pairs up the ties, adds the aggregate over both legs and lets you settle the draw on penalties to decide who reaches the round of 16.
How are the two-legged ties decided?
In the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals the simulator totals the goals from both legs. When the aggregate is level there is no extra time: you choose the penalty-shootout winner directly.
Is the final also two-legged?
No. The 2026/27 Champions League final is a single match at the Metropolitano in Madrid, so you only enter one scoreline to crown the champions.
