NWSL 2026 Season Simulator
The NWSL is the top flight of women's soccer in the United States, and 2026 brings its biggest format yet: for the first time in league history there are 16 clubs, after the arrival of expansion sides Boston Legacy FC and Denver Summit FC. Every team plays a 30-match regular season, the longest schedule the league has ever run, kicking off on 13 March and closing on 1 November with a Decision Day where all the games are played at once. The league paused in June for the men's World Cup and returned in July. There is no promotion or relegation: the NWSL is a closed league.
The top eight teams reach the playoffs, which begin in November and end with the NWSL Championship on 21 November.
