About the Brasileirão Série A 2026 simulator

The Brasileirão Série A is Brazil's top division and is played entirely within the calendar year. Its 20 teams contest 38 matchdays in a double round-robin format, facing every other side home and away. The highest-placed clubs earn a spot in the Copa Libertadores, while the bottom four are relegated to Série B when the championship ends.

With this simulator you can recreate the entire Brazilian season and predict its outcome match by match. Calculate the final table, follow the fight for the title and for Libertadores berths, and see which clubs drop to Série B. Change results, replay matchdays, and explore every possible scenario in South America's most thrilling championship.

How to simulate the Brasileirão

  1. 1Work through all 38 rounds and enter the score of each match, or let the simulator settle a whole round at once.
  2. 2The table reorders instantly on points (three for a win, one for a draw) and applies the championship's tie-breaking rules.
  3. 3Keep an eye on the lines that split the Libertadores and Sudamericana places from the relegation zone (the dreaded bottom four).
  4. 4Close out the season with your Brazilian champion and share the final standings.

Frequently asked questions

How many teams play in the Brasileirão and how many rounds are there?

Twenty clubs contest 38 rounds in a double round-robin played within a single calendar year, with no group stage and no title play-off: the champion is simply whoever collects the most points.

How many teams are relegated to Série B?

The bottom four sides in the table lose their place and drop to Série B, a wider relegation than in most European leagues.

How are the Libertadores and Sudamericana places decided?

The champion and the leading clubs go to the Copa Libertadores; the mid-table positions just below them earn a place in the Copa Sudamericana.

What happens if two teams finish level on points?

The simulator breaks ties the Brasileirão way: first by number of wins, then by goal difference and goals scored, exactly as in the official standings.

Can I redo a round and try a different outcome?

Yes. Change any result as many times as you like and the table instantly recalculates the Libertadores, Sudamericana and relegation places.
